Conflict of Interest Statement
Please note Leicestershire Consultant Eye Surgeons LLP – t/a The Stoneygate Eye Hospital is owned by the LLP run by consultants and their services are paid for.
All patients have a choice of being treated/operated on at any of the private facilities in Leicester i.e. Nuffield Health Leicester, Spire Leicester and as a private patient at the Leicester Royal Infirmary, or any other facility where the consultant has practicing privileges and or admitting rights.

Lower Value Services
The following “low-value” services are also provided to consultants at The Stoneygate Eye Hospital:
- General services to ensure clinical safety (e.g. FGM, First Aid, Core of Knowledge)
- Consultant administrative services, patient booking, letters, typing services, CMA approved letters, insurance & patient billing
- Basic workplace amenities such as teas/coffees/refreshments, car parking & stationery
Currently, the Stoneygate Eye Hospital does not offer corporate hospitality to referring clinicians however, the Stoneygate Eye Hospital does provide food & drink for consultants at the monthly medical advisory committee (MAC). The value of the food does not exceed £200 for all nine consultants and other senior management members.
